Declutter My Gmail Account It Is Full Of Crap And Overwhelming Information.

If your like me and have subscribed to so many different groups and fan pages in your facebook account at whim your going to find that your my gmail account will be receiving far too many gmails from those facebook fan pages and groups.  Now I’m finding that many groups will just add you without your knowledge but you have a choice to remain subscribed or remove yourself.

Let me show you 2 different ways where you can actually stop receiving these emails and declutter My Gmail Account And Yours.

As you go into your gmail account choose the gmail you no longer wish to receive and click on the edit emails settings.  Now make sure you have already opened your facebook account before you do this for this to go directly through to your facebook settings. This is where you can control what you would like to do with the settings.

Here you can choose whether you want facebook to notify you every single time someone posts on the groups wall.  So go ahead and choose whether you want the post emailed to you by changing the settings.

You can choose if you want sent to your gmail,  some group chat messages and put the tab on sometimes or always.  Then save the settings.

You will find that sometimes you will wanna know what’s going on. It’s really your choice. Once you have set the setting you will no longer receive what you chose.

The second way for you not to receive emails from the groups is you can change it by actually leaving the group by clicking on the button provided under the pictures of members where it says LEAVE GROUP.
